Hiking in Forillon National Park
Gaspe, Quebec, Canada

For breathtaking ocean and mountain views, set out on one of Forillon National Park’s most popular hikes to the Mont St-Alban observation tower. You never know what adventure hides around the corner on this picturesque hike across mountain ridges and through magnificent evergreen forests that are home to moose, black bears, porcupines and grouse. The 360-degree panoramic view atop the cliff soaring 1,000 feet tall provides plenty of postcard-worthy photo ops.

Black-Sand Beach Hike
Kona, Hawaii, US

What better way to experience the beauty of Hawaii than on this active adventure up the Kohala coastline to Pololu Valley, one of the most remote locations on the island. Follow your guide down a switchback trail to the black-sand beach and admire the stunning scenery of forested cliffs and crystal-clear blue waters that will leave you speechless. Your hike is enhanced with a visit to the original statue of King Kamehameha as you learn the historical and cultural significance of this lush green valley.

Pulpit Rock Hike
Stavanger, Norway

Lace up your hiking boots and discover one of the most unique and spectacular attractions in Norway. This five-mile round-trip hike takes you through an array of landscapes – lush forest and marshland, magnificent mountains and even ponds. Experience the thrill of excitement when you arrive at Pulpit Rock and behold the incredible view of Lysefjord, undoubtedly one of Norway’s most famous fjords, below you. Rest, relax and enjoy the breathtaking views from the plateau before hiking back down.

Cerro Negro Hike
Corinto, Nicaragua

This hike begins at the bottom of the volcanic mountain. Explore the Nicaraguan landscape, known as the “Land of Lakes and Volcanoes” and travel to the still-active Cerro Negro volcano. This smoldering volcano is one of the youngest in Central America. Your agility will be tested as your guide leads you on this steep climb through an unpaved natural path. Once you reach the top, you can catch your breath as you take in the incredible view of the entire Maribios volcanic chain.

Chilkoot Trail Hike & Float
Skagway, Alaska

Enjoy the fresh clean air as you hike through the Alaskan rainforest on the Chilkoot Trail, now part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. This historic trail was the main route to the riches of the Klondike during the gold rush era. Pristine forests offer extensive scenery on your climb, evoking the beauty of Alaska as you meander along and up and over the trail’s 350-foot elevation of Saintly Hill. The hike culminates at the Taiya River where you will board an 18-foot inflatable raft for a peaceful float down the river. Soak up the splendor of the river, hanging glaciers and mountain views. Enjoy a riverside snack and of course, plenty of photo memories before making the return journey back to your ship.
