No wonder it is so good, and served in such a small cup. No, I won’t be making it, will just enjoy it every morning on every cruise!
Thanks for the ingredient list. Won’t be taking two!
I couldn’t believe Holland America Line was putting this extra special recipe online!! I’m thrilled beyond belief! Love, love, love this breakfast item and regularly order it when on board. Thank you, thank you, thank you! A million times thank you!
Thank you so much! It was delicious onboard and it will be delicious on land!
Fantastic! I had never had Swiss Style Muesli before…so glad it was this last week on the Oosterdam trip o Alaska. Can I get a recipe for the really great Red Rice Patty and Asparagus served to us at the luncheon held for repeat mariners? It was so delicious! Thanks again for a voyage not forgotten!
Thank you! A portion of this and an Egg Benedict special of the day and I am in heaven or at least cruising.
I loved this Swiss Muesli! I had it on the cruise to Alaska last week on the Oosterdam and was hoping to find the recipe. Thank you so much for providing it. I will definitely be making it!
Was on the Westerdam—loved this! Thanks for the recipe!
Just came back from my third HAL cruise and was looking for a Swiss muesli recipes since I had that every morning for breakfast on the boat. I was amazed to find it posted. What a pleasant surprise! No wonder it tastes so good, it has heavy cream in it. Thank you for posting this precious recipe.
I thought I was eating something low calorie and good for me on my cruise. That is, until I read the ingredients……..oh well, Life is Short, enjoy it!
Thank you for sharing this recipe for Swiss Muesli, I also enjoy some (too much!?) ?everyday on our cruise. I look forward to having it at home also. ?
So happy to find this! I climbed (literally) aboard cruise ships with Park Rangers during Glacier Bay Alaska voyages 3 days per week. I ate muesli every morning. Never had it until then. Cannot wait to try the recipe myself.
We had it a number of years ago on our cruise and I still remember it and compare it to store bought. FYI there is no comparison :) So happy I am now able to make it at home.
My daily room service breakfast of muesli and fresh fruit was one of my favorite parts of the three HAL cruises I’ve been lucky enough to go on. This month, we were in the Carribean and Mexico on the Zuiderdam. Now back in the darkness of a Seattle winter, I bought some at the store, then thought I should at least try to find HAL’s recipe. I’m so excited to make them both and compare!
This is one of my all-time favorite items in the Lido market. I cruised with another line last year and their “muesli” was a complete disappointment. Thank you for sharing the recipe!
I absolutely adore this! It’s my favourite breakfast item and I look forward to it on every cruise. Thank You for posting the recipe.
Loved this for breakfast every morning on all of my cruises!
I have been on 9 cruises and eat this every day along with a krentebol (I’m Dutch). I have made a version of this at home but a little lower on the calorie side. Love this!!
