The city of Vancouver, in the Canadian province of British Columbia, is a shining light in the American Northwest, and is consistently ranked one of the most livable cities in the world. Come see why this location was chosen as the home for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

A panoramic drive heads into the heart of downtown Vancouver -- a bustling urban environment surrounded by water and mountains. The city features one of the most diverse populations in North America -- more than 50% of the population's first language is not English.

Discover the second-largest Chinatown in North America, passing through the renovated and popular Gastown district and into Stanley Park. This is where the locals come to relax and play. Stanley Park is larger than New York's Central Park, and is home to old-growth trees and a spectacular display of First Nation totems. It boasts a 5½-mile seawall to protect it from the winter storms. You'll have an opportunity to explore some of Stanley Park and take photos of the mountains that form a spectacular backdrop for the city.

Available both to guests whose cruise ends in Vancouver, with flights after 2pm, and to guests transferring to select downtown or airport hotels. The hotel drop-off for downtown Vancouver will be at the Pan Pacific Hotel, which is directly across from the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. The airport drop-off will be at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver Airport, which is located within Vancouver Airport. Shuttles to various other airport hotel properties can be accessed from this stop. If you have already purchased an airport transfer with your cruise booking, it will be refunded on board the ship, as this excursion automatically includes a transfer.
