Celebrate National Rum Day With This Refreshing Cocktail

August 16 is National Rum Day in celebration of one of the world’s oldest and most storied spirits. Produced around the world, from the Caribbean to South America and beyond, rum has become a key ingredient for many cocktails. Our Hemingway Daiquiri is one example. Gather friends around the table for a refreshing treat after mixing the tasty ingredients below.

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Mount Gay Rum
0.25 oz Maraschino Liqueur
0.5 oz Grapefruit Juice
1.5 oz Fresh Sour
Lime Wheel Garnish

Instructions:

Pour all ingredients into a mixing tin with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into the glass. For Fresh Sour, use equal parts fresh lemon juice and simple syrup.
