Belfast has endured a long and often turbulent history. This excursion will acquaint you with the landmarks involved in the city's colorful development, from great industrial triumphs to the civil unrest that once tarnished Belfast's image.
You will see many well-known landmarks, including City Hall, Queens University, the Ulster Museum, Botanic Gardens and the Albert Clock.
Your guide will point out the political wall murals for which Belfast is famous. Take photographs here -- they succinctly capture the Troubles in art form and are a unique cultural icon indeed.
You'll stop at one of Belfast's famous pubs and pay homage to the art of Irish drinking. Belfast is a lively city, and its pubs are both historical and friendly. Enjoy a cool beverage.
Back on the motorcoach, you'll head back to the ship.
