Leave the pier and travel to the Petrohué River and towards Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Osorno Volcano. Stop for a walk along the Petrohué River to view the rapids cascading over the rugged volcanic rocks.
Head to Puerto Varas -- the City of Roses. Puerto Varas looks over Lake Llanquihue, one of Chile’s largest lakes, where the reflection of the eternal snow that covers the Osorno Volcano is mirrored in the clear waters. Here, you will have a chance to explore the lakeshore or walk around the city.
Afterward, you will return to the pier.
Notes:
Although only a few horse flies live near this river, wear light-colored clothing to avoid attracting them. Bring insect repellent. Weather and atmospheric conditions vary; no guarantee is offered with regard to visibility or views on any particular day.
