Take Robert Pennicott's award-winning three-hour coastal wilderness cruise along the spectacular coastline between Eaglehawk Neck and Port Arthur. You will see Australia's highest sea cliffs, enter deep sea caves and join in the search for abundant sea and coastal wildlife such as seals, dolphins and sea birds.
Robert's custom-built boat is ideal for viewing the spectacular coastline and wildlife with covered open-air seating providing an excellent all-round view and connection with the environment.
One of the highlights of the cruise is Tasman Island -- a great landmark of the Southern Ocean. Its slender white lighthouse is still a beacon for seafarers entering Storm Bay, including during the famous annual Sydney-to-Hobart Yacht Race.
Few places on Earth boast such a rich variety of marine wildlife and seabirds. The Continental Shelf runs close to Tasman Island and an upwelling of nutrients from the ocean's depths creates a buffet for all the creatures in the complex food chain of the sea, from plankton and birdlife -- such as albatross -- to sharks, dolphins and southern right whales.
