"Joan has led an incredibly rich and interesting life, and we’re thrilled that she’s going to share her story with our guests on this Adventure of Your Life cruise," said Orlando Ashford, president of Holland America Line. "These special cruises are transformative and life-changing for many of our guests, and we’ve carefully selected experts like Angela and Sara who we know will make deep connections and have a profound impact on our guests during their time on board."

In addition, select items from O Favorite Things in the December 2017 issue of O, The Oprah Magazine will be available for purchase in the on board gift shop — just in time to do some holiday shopping. Highlights of items from the list that will be available for purchase include Peepers Center Stage polarized sunglasses, Barefoot Dreams Luxe Milk Jersey Piped PJ set, and Oprah Winfrey’s "Wisdom of Sunday," a collection of meaningful insights from Super Soul Conversations.

Buck Exposes Her World in The Price of Illusion

In "The Price of Illusion," Buck shares her life over 50 years, detailing her time spent in the creative hearts of London, New York, Los Angeles and Paris. The only child of a volatile movie producer, Buck became a magazine journalist at 19 to reflect and record the life she’d been brought up in. After a career writing for Vogue and Vanity Fair, she was named the first American woman to edit Vogue Paris.

Including a spectacular cast of legends, monsters and stars, her memoir is a moving account of a remarkable woman’s rocky passage through glamour and passion, family duty and madness, in search of her true self.
