Explore the pristine coastline of Costa Maya by bike and kayak.
Your guide will assign helmets and adjust your bike for comfort; then, you'll take a 40-minute ride south along the coastal road past a mangrove lagoon to the sleepy fishing village of Mahahual. Explore the local flavor while passing by traditional houses and restaurants.
At a nearby beach, your two-person clear-bottom kayak will be waiting for you. Head out to sea, crossing the blue waters of the Caribbean as you paddle along a reef and enjoy the view of beaches lined with palm trees. Rest on the beach before riding your bike back to the pier.
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind is allowed) and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Bike and kayak equipment included -- paddles, life vest and helmet. Not suitable for pregnant women or guests with heart problems, asthma, diabetes or limited mobility.
