This tour is for those accompanying a guest using a wheelchair booked on Accessible Pompeii, Sorrento & Amalfi Coast. It is also suitable for those wishing to book an accessible tour but not requiring specific accommodations, such as a wheelchair anchor on the transportation. Guests using a wheelchair and requiring a designated accessible place on the transportation must select the version of this tour that does not include "Companion" in the title. Participants must be able to walk/roll for 1½ miles. Additionally, the coach parking area is a 15-minute walk/roll (each way) to/from the entrance. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, cobblestones, inclines, gravel, grass, and steps. Pompeii is not wheelchair accessible. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Backpacks and large bags are not allowed inside the Pompeii excavation site; lockers are not available. Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience. Lunch is not included. You will have time to purchase lunch at your own expense during the tour.
