Here's an experience you'll never forget -- exploring the natural wonder of the Everglades by airboat. Informative, fun, and exciting, this tour takes you deep into Everglades National Park -- one of America's largest.
On a 60-minute journey through this unique ecosystem, the airboat skims the surface of the shallow waters and traverses the fascinating Sea of Grass -- so named by Seminole Natives because the sawgrass is such a vital part of the Everglades' natural filtration system.
Watch for alligators and native fish, sawgrass prairies, mangrove and cypress swamps, pinelands, and hardwood hammocks. The Everglades is especially renowned for its rich bird life, including wading birds. Be on the lookout for roseate spoonbills, wood storks, great blue herons, a variety of egrets and other marshland birds.
This is also the only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles exist side by side -- you're likely to see one or the other or both.
