This amazing outback adventure to Kalbarri National Park showcases one of the most visited National Parks in the state of Western Australia. Kalbarri covers more than 718 square miles and is located on the lower reaches of the Murchison River. Over time, the river has carved the landscape to create deep, awe-inspiring gorges that penetrate 50 miles of rugged territory from the hinterland all the way to the sea.
Short walks at Hawk's Head Gorge and Ross Graham Gorge will take you to the extremes -- first with magnificent views of the snaking river below; then, to the shady river's edge for views of towering cliffs high above.
Tea or coffee is served as you relax and take it all in. Continue to the town of Kalbarri and admire the floral beauty of the vast and rolling sand plains. Enjoy a picnic Lunch and catch up with some of the locals. Drive along the National Park's winding coastal road to see the Pink Lakes and Lynton convict settlement.
