Visit the four corners of the picturesque Alaska community of Homer.
Away from the harbor, you'll take in the vistas from various viewpoints around the community. This stunning tableau includes vast and lovely Kachemak Bay and its three glaciers.
You'll pause in Homer's Old Town area and take an easy-to-moderate walk through the Beluga Lake hiking area. Spend some time beachcombing on Bishop Beach and check out the rockpools for starfish, urchins, and jellyfish.
Notes:
Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, slight inclines, sand, wooden boardwalks, gravel, grass, and a few steps. Tour requires approximately one hour of walking. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Bring a backpack to stow any layers you shed. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
