Will be sailing for 48 days from Fort Lauderdale to Vancouver BC. Starting March 15th. I know the voyage will be fantastic since I travelled on HAL ships many, many times. My only fear is the COVID-19 and the consequences it might present. I just hope that all will be well and we will be able to visit all ports of call! Wish us luck!!!

I’m enjoying the quieter and more sophisticated environment on the Koningsdam. I’m very happy there are no raucus entertainment options going on, no annoying music and I like the overall elegance of the ship. Thank you and please keep up the classy approach! Mark

Has smoking areas on the Koningsdam been a problem throughout the ship?
I heard they don’t enforce it much and has trouble passengers. Wife and I do not smoke.
Going on Nov 13- Dec 4th, 2019 for the first time.
Also do Military Vets meet on the ship.
    Thank You!!!
    Terry

After 20 plus cruises on various cruise lines the ship Konningsdam in our opinion was the most boring ship we have ever travelled on.The entertainment was so minimal that we only went into the world stage theatre twice once for a small dancing group good dancers but not too exciting, the comedian was very good. What happened to all the great Broadway type shows on other cruise lines. There was very little happening even when you were at all day at sea, no ice carving, no bar. b. q’s on pool deck. No music groups at the pool, a big movie screen which only shows a repeating raindrop pattern why not have cirque d’ selay or BBC world playing during the day. We tried to watch one movie at night but the audio was bad so we finished watching it in the cabin. Nice ship nice staff but last trip for us on Holland America ever, back to Celebrity next time. Sorry HAL you have slipped way down from our original cruise 20 plus years ago.

We were on this sailing and I spoke to the team filming the show several times (but was only filmed once, talking to CD Ben after the last trivia). Looking forward to seeing if I made it to the show!

We sailed on the Koningsdam 2 years ago shortly after it arrived in the US. It was a fantastic ship and we thoroughly enjoy all the beauty and amenities onboard. We will be sailing with HAL again next January. Already excited!
