A major highlight of cruising with Holland America Line is our fantastic entertainment options. Whether it’s pre-dinner drinks, or an after dinner show, you can bet you’re in for an unforgettable evening!

LINCOLN CENTER STAGE

Lincoln Center Stage

As part of an exclusive partnership with the world’s leading center for the performing arts, Lincoln Center Stage on select ships showcases exceptional live chamber music performances featuring classically trained violinists, violists, cellists and pianists. These world-class musicians perform multiple ensembles nightly and even play afternoon recitals during leisurely days at sea.

After a delicious meal, make your way over to Lincoln Center Stage and prepare to be enchanted, as you sip on a cocktail or refreshment from our Explorer’s Bar.

B.B. KING’S BLUES CLUB

B.B. King's Blues Club

The music and excitement that comes direct from Beale Street in Memphis, Tenn., thrills guests five nights a week on select ships when world-class musicians from the B.B. King’s All Stars Band create a dynamic sound to get the crowd energized. The eight-piece band features two vocalists backed by a drummer, bassist, guitarist, sax player, trumpeter and organist. From funky and fast to soulful and smooth, the band does it all while you enjoy a signature drink or dance the blues away!

BILLBOARD ONBOARD

Billboard Onboard

Billboard Onboard showcases the talents of live musicians — including two pianists, a guitarist and a DJ — who take turns performing dynamic shows centered around the interesting facts and figures of the music industry as chronicled by Billboard. Featured on select ships, guests can sing and play along with trivia questions presented on screens throughout the room. Can you name that tune?

MAIN STAGE SHOW LOUNGE

Koningsdam's World Stage.

Our Main Stage Show Lounge is home to an exciting variety of performances including exclusive concerts like “Off the Charts: Billboard Hits Rewind,” and “Frozen Planet Live by BBC Earth Experiences,” which are the centerpiece of this incredibly popular venue.

While this venue can be found on most ships, Koningsdam offers a different take – our impressive World Stage. Featuring a two-story, 270-degree wraparound LED screen surrounding you in high-definition, our World Stage is a dazzling, trendsetting theater where innovation meets entertainment!

MOVIES ON BOARD

Koningsdam's Lido Pool.

Koningsdam’s Lido Pool.

After an exciting day at port, there’s no better way to relax and unwind than by snuggling up to watch a movie! Complimentary films and popcorn are waiting for you in your ship’s movie theater, however if you’re too tired to head out for the evening, movies can also be enjoyed from the comfort of your own stateroom or suite.

On Koningsdam, step out on the Lido Deck to enjoy a movie under the stars on our giant LED screen.

BARS & LOUNGES

Bars & lounges.

Whether you’re enjoying the amazing views of the Crow’s Nest, a cocktail menu created by Master Mixologist Dale DeGroff in the Gallery Bar, or a different option every night, our wide selection of lounges and gathering spaces bring your nights to life.

Looking forward to the BB King Blues Club on the Eurodam next November to Hawaii. Glad to see something like this – a weak point has always been “modern” music available for dancing after dinner hour. Although the dj’s in the discos (we have been on Amsterdam, Niew Amsterdam, Stantendam, Veendam, and Zuiderdam) always are there to play music, at a usual age of 20-30, they just do not have the pulse of what music folks in the over 50 age group would enjoy. Have brought our own cd’s on occasion and asked the dj to play them, which they did. But should not have to come up with our own relevant entertainment and music. Hope the Blues Club will be a positive change.

How was your trip? We will be taking our first cruise in a couple weeks on the Eurodam, and I was hoping for a little evening dancing also! Interested to find out how it went for you.

This is our first curise with Holland America on Ms Westerdam, we are delighted with the ‘over 50’s entertainment! The 2 very talented young musicians on BIllboard Onboard play skillfilly, first night country music, 2nd night the 70’s music, and Icon musica we all (the baby bommers) know, there is only standing room left, everyone was singing alone & clapping our hands high. it was truly fun & enjoyable. Then I discoverd the talented 5 young musicians playing classical music with viola, violine, piano, cello, oh they play the classical known to most, another wonderful entertainment we enjoyed so much. Today is only the 3rd day on the ship, we look forward to more of the entertainment. We are just happy this time we are cruising on the beatiful Ms Westerdam:)! May 23,2018

We just returned from a Alaska Triple Danali plus 7 day inside passage cruise on Noordam. Awesome is the best word. We loved Lincoln Center, Mainstage, and B.B. King show – and everything else. Danali is breathtaking beyond words.

We are travelling on the MV Westerdam departing Singapore November 27, 2018
I am in the process of booking dining.

To determine time for a relaxed dinner, where can I find the schedule of the times for the various evening entertainment planned for this cruise to Hong Kong.

Is there a minimum age for BB King’s Blues Club? My 17 daughter sings with her high school jazz band and will be sailing with us on the Oosterdam next August. She would love to enjoy the entertainment in the blues club!

We are traveling over New Years to Mexico on the Eurodam. We have our 4 children ages 22-26. We all love dancing the night away! Is there a disco? I’m not finding it on the website! I’m hearing HA is more for an older crowd so now I’m worried! Please tell me there’s a disco for young people!

I suppose Big Band Music (or even tunes) on the March 10-20 Panama Canal Cruise is out of the question. Please respond. Thank you.

Does the main stage still have a complement of singers and dancers? We need a lot more things to do on the ship for people that aren’t 95 years old.
