Cruise Diary: a Baltic Voyage Sea Day
Journalist Pat Woods just cruised on Eurodam’s 10-night Baltic cruise and chronicled her journey for us. Enjoy!
Today was the second and last sea day of this Baltic voyage. The morning passed quickly as we attended an 8 am church service followed by a galley tour, a fitness center workout and watching dessert prep demonstrations in the Culinary Arts Center.
At the Mariner (loyalty club) champagne luncheon, we discussed past and future cruises with seasoned Mariners from Connecticut and California. After lunch, we attended SkyDrive and Windows 8 Digital Workshop classes. I spent some quality time glancing at passing island scenery while downloading images from digital camera to laptop computer, swimming in the Sea View pool and walking on the promenade deck.
During the second and last formal night, we enjoyed perfectly-done surf-and-turf while sharing a table with congenial guests from England. HAL chefs, who could work in the finest restaurants, are very adept at satisfying my seafood craving!
