Terms & Conditions

The Cruise Voucher may be applied by the purchaser (“Purchaser”) to any new booking reservation on a Holland America Line® brand cruise on a Caribbean or Alaskan itinerary booked by, and sailing no later than, September 30, 2026, subject to availability and blackout dates as determined solely by Holland America Line Limited (“Cruise”). Cruise Vouchers shall have the value stated on them, are subject to all terms imposed by Holland America Line Limited (“HAL”), and may be applied to cruise fare, government taxes and fees, required cruise fees and expenses, Have It All Beverage Packages, and any flexible air travel, hotel accommodations, and ground transfers booked through HAL in connection with the Cruise. Cruise fare includes all regular onboard meals and entertainment. Alcoholic beverages (except if included in the Have It All beverage packages), restricted air travel, air travel added after final Cruise booking payment, baggage fees and travel expenses (except as expressly included above), excursion fees, gratuities, discretionary hotel/dining charges, meals in alternate dining venues, onboard expenditures, boutique purchases, and any other expenses not specified as being included are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser.  Cruise Vouchers may only be purchased with a valid credit or debit card. All reservations and Cruise arrangements including, without limitation, the dates and times, are subject to availability (as determined solely by HAL), and restrictions such as capacity restrictions. Blackout dates including holidays may apply. HAL does not guarantee the Cruise will be available on the exact sailing dates requested by Purchaser. QVC advertisements for the sale of the Cruise Vouchers refer to the purchased product as “voucher”, however Cruise Vouchers will also be referred to as ‘Future Cruise Credits’ (FCCs) within the purchaser’s Holland America Line account.

Subject to availability, the Purchaser may book his/her preferred cabin category, provided that Purchaser shall be responsible for paying any amounts exceeding the value of the Cruise Voucher. As with any customer booking a cruise, Purchaser may add additional vacation features such as internet access and drink packages at the price available, as specified on the HAL website at the time of Purchaser booking. The Purchaser must book and sail on the Cruise no later than September 30, 2026.  

Cruise Vouchers may only be applied to one booking and only one Cruise Voucher may be applied to a booking. Cruise Vouchers are not redeemable for cash, are non-transferable, and the Purchaser who receives the Cruise Voucher must book the Cruise and sail using the Cruise Voucher.  Cruise Vouchers are valid on new bookings only, not valid on previously booked sailings. Cruise Vouchers cannot be applied to bookings under industry rates, private fares, friends and family rates, or casino bookings. No refund or credits shall be provided for any unused onboard credits or value added items provided as part of Purchaser’s purchase of the Cruise Vouchers and such onboard credits and value added items are not redeemable for cash. In no situation shall Purchaser be entitled to a refund greater than the amount paid to Holland America Line for the Cruise Voucher. Any Cruise Voucher fully unused as of September 30, 2026 shall be automatically refunded to the same method of payment that Purchaser used for the purchase of the Cruise Voucher. Any unused portions of Cruise Vouchers that have not been applied to a booking as of September 30,2026, shall be refunded to the same method of payment that Purchaser used for the purchase of the Cruise Voucher in accordance with the following calculation: Purchaser shall receive the value of the remaining unused portion minus the value of any value added items and onboard credits provided as part of the Cruise Voucher offer. HAL’s standard cancellation policy shall apply to any portion of the Cruise Voucher that has been used for booking the Cruise. 

Cruise guests must meet all eligibility requirements to sail as described on HAL’s website as of the date of departure unless the Cruise guest is the child of the Purchaser (in which case such minor guests must be accompanied at all times during Cruise trip by the Purchaser). All Cruise travelers must have all necessary identification and/or Cruise documents (including, but not limited to, a valid passport, visa (if applicable) and all other necessary travel documents, which include any health certifications/proofs of vaccination that are required by HAL and/or applicable governments/ports) required for chosen Cruise. Cruise is subject to the terms and conditions of HAL’s Cruise Contract. As set forth in more detail in the Cruise Contract, HAL reserves the right to refuse to embark any traveler, at any time if, in the sole opinion of HAL, a traveler is unfit for any reason for the Cruise. HAL shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitution or any acts or omissions whatsoever by Cruise operators or any other persons providing any Cruise-related services or accommodations. Purchaser and any guests are also responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledge that HAL has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. Lost, stolen or damaged Cruise Vouchers, will not be replaced or exchanged. Ships’ Registry: The Netherlands.
