Created by Matt Wright, National Geographic's 'Outback Wrangler', this Darwin airboat ride leaves from Stokes Hill Wharf just a short walk from the pier in the Darwin -- an outdoor adventure that is right at your fingertips.
A custom-built V8 airboat takes you on a 45-minute journey across Darwin Harbour to the city's scenic mangrove forest, where you will cruise along the shallow mudflats and take in the beautiful scenery.
Watch for the local birdlife and keep an eye on the waters below for sharks, crocodiles and stingrays. This area is prime habitat for many endemic species.
The adrenaline pumps with the start of the 'airboat fast laps' -- spinning and gliding across the water at warp speed.
Notes:
Bring a change of t-shirt as the fast laps can be a little muddy. Please note: Minimum age is 3 years. Tour does not operate on Holidays. Minimum height of each guest is 1.2 metres, Max weight 286lb.
