Get acquainted with the historical landmarks of the first city in the Americas on foot.
Visit the Main Square, located in the heart of downtown, to view the Government Palace, the Town Hall, the Bishop’s Palace with its beautiful balconies, and the Lima Cathedral, where you will visit inside. Its outstanding features are the choir stalls, the Churrigueresque Chapel of the Immaculate, the main altar and a statue of Christ made of carved ivory. On the right is the crypt with the remains of conqueror Francisco Pizarro.
Step inside the Church and Convent of San Francisco, considered Lima’s most important religious monument. It was built in 1542 in Baroque style and consecrated in 1673.
Your drive through Lima will pass several colonial squares, churches and mansions; then, you will continue to the more modern districts of San Isidro and Miraflores for a glimpse of life in this vast city, as well as its beautiful parks, modern buildings and great ocean views.

This tour is designed for guests who are interested in a faster-paced experience. Tour requires walking approximately two hours. Panoramic options are available for those who prefer a more relaxed outing. In the event the cathedral is closed, a visit to Santo Domingo Convent will be substituted (mornings only). Tour does not operate on weekends. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
