Geirangerfjord -- a UNESCO World Heritage Site -- is one of nature's masterpieces. Its claim to be 'the world's most beautiful fjord' is no exaggeration and it is amid this dramatic mountain magic that you'll experience some spectacular sea kayaking -- no prior kayaking experience required.

An activity guide will meet you at the pier to walk with you to the base camp, approximately 250 yards from the pier. Gear up and paddle along the steep fjord walls to admire the reflection of the cliffs in the waters below. Watch for charming little farms perched on rocky ledges, where children and animals have to be tied off so they don't fall over the steep cliffs.

The Seven Sisters and other cascading waterfalls are truly magnificent and kayaking is one of the best ways to experience nature's overwhelming beauty in Geirangerfjord.

Participants should be in generally good physical condition and must be able to swim. Those with back or neck problems are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Previous sea kayaking experience is not required. No changing facilities are available. Personal items can be locked in the manned kayak office during paddling. Minimum age is 12 years; each child must be accompanied by an adult in the same kayak. Maximum height is 6'3". Maximum weight is 264 lbs.
