Holland America Line is back Down Under for the 2024/25 Australia cruise season with two premium ships – Noordam and Westerdam. The ships will complete a total of 12 voyages sailing between Sydney and Auckland on 12- to 14-day cruises that explore New Zealand along with 21- to 58-day voyages that circumnavigate Australia.

Pub Choir Hits The High Seas
Along with engaging itineraries at port, on-board entertainment will showcase Holland America Line’s award-winning live entertainment offerings with one exclusive addition: In January, Noordam will feature international music phenomenon Pub Choir. Hailing from Australia, the interactive choir will lead participatory performances on Noordam’s January 27 Australia and New Zealand cruise, sailing Auckland to Sydney.
Pickleball kicks-off Australian Season
The season kick-off featured Sydney pickleball professionals in a tournament overlooking the iconic Sydney Harbour on Noordam, Nov. 12. In Australia, pickleball has surged from virtually unknown five years ago to a boom sport, growing 20 percent a year, according to the Pickleball Australia Association. Attendees to the kick-off event included local media and travel consultants, who learned the ins and outs of Pickleball from Noordam’s Sport Director and by watching Aussie pickleball stars show off their skills in a friendly competition. The attendees were then invited to try out the sport themselves from Noordam’s scenic Sports Court. Check out what they said about the experience:
