Holland America Line is introducing a refreshed experience at its popular Pan-Asian Tamarind specialty restaurant. More than a dozen dishes will debut on the menu, alongside several popular appetizers, main courses and desserts that are known favorites of guests. New sharing-style appetizers will be introduced, with options including bao buns and Korean beef tacos. Vegetarian and vegan dishes also are featured, offering a wide selection for all palates.

Holland America Line is reviving the grandeur of sailaway celebrations as a cherished tradition at the start of each cruise, making it an experience too good to hurry through. The cruise line is partnering with premier Champagne producer Taittinger and has curated entertainment, music, food and beverages for guests to enjoy as the ship leaves port on the first day of every voyage.

This prestigious award recognizes the cruise line that sets the standard for excellence with a diverse and exceptional selection of beverages, enhancing the onboard experience for guests. 

Holland America Line announced a six-week extension of its 2026 Europe season and opened bookings for four cruises available as part of the expansion. Guests have further opportunities to explore the Mediterranean and Norway — including a chance to see the Northern Lights on a cruise that enters the Arctic Circle.  

 

To mark Holland America Line’s 152 years of offering memorable cruise vacations, the brand celebrates its Dutch heritage and beloved guests with an “Anniversary Sale” that runs from April 3 - 30, 2025. The promotion features up to 30% off cruise fares, onboard credits up to $300 per stateroom, 50% reduced deposits and free third and fourth guests when traveling in the same stateroom — making it the perfect time to book a cruise and connect to the world and each other.

Holland America Line created what it believes to be the longest maki sushi roll at sea on March 30 aboard Rotterdam. The effort was spearheaded by the line’s Global Fresh Fish Ambassador Chef Masaharu Morimoto, who was on board.  

As part of the 2026-2027 season, guests will be able to enjoy a number of enhancements at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, including a new beach club featuring priority tendering, waiter service and exclusive food and beverage offerings. Beach club guests will have private beach access with upgraded beach furniture as well as indoor and outdoor seating with ship views. 

Holland America Line is is kicking off its season Saturday, April 26. Six Holland America Line ships will head to the splendors of Alaska in 2025, sailing roundtrip from Seattle, Washington, roundtrip from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and between Vancouver and Whittier (Anchorage), Alaska.

Holland America Line is announcing a significant expansion of its single barrel whiskey program, distinguishing itself from other cruise lines in the industry. The onboard program is evolving starting this spring from a single barrel of Buffalo Trace to an impressive collection of nine single barrels, sourced from both world-renowned and emerging distilleries across the country.

Holland America Line was thrilled to partner with Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to host 30 Junior Achievement of South Florida students aboard its ship, Rotterdam, earlier this month. The students came on board for exclusive behind-the-scenes tours showcasing careers in the cruise and maritime industry. This unique event aimed to ignite a passion for maritime careers by providing them with a firsthand look at different jobs within the cruise industry.

When the Alaska season starts, Holland America Line guests will have a new majestic friend to take home as a souvenir. Eland the plush moose will be available for purchase starting in April on all six ships cruising in Alaska and at a later date, at Holland America Denali Lodge.
