Does the ship have a medical center if I need to see a doctor?
Answer: All ships have a well-equipped medical center that is staffed by licensed doctors and nurses. For routine care, the Medical Center is open twice a day by appointment and for walk-ins. For urgent or emergency care, the medical staff is available 24/7.
We recommend you bring a copy of your medical record with you or have it immediately available in your electronic medical record, including any recent specialty reports and test results.
Guests may also purchase several over-the-counter medications from our onboard shops or the medical center. Our on-board medical centers meet or exceed the Health Care guidelines for cruise ship medical centers outlined by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
