Sea Trek helmet diving is a truly unusual activity and super-fun to try. You'll find yourself walking along the sea floor with a helmet that is attached to an air supply at the surface. The helmet weighs you down so you can walk and breathe with ease. This is ideal for families wanting to enjoy the amazing underwater world together. Your helmet fits comfortably on your shoulders; your face and hair remain dry, and you can wear your glasses or contact lenses. A guide, a safety diver, and a surface attendant accompany you.
Board a boat for a ride out to a reef. Here, after a safety briefing, you'll be assigned to either the first or second group. One group hangs out on the boat (shade and sun) while the other group descends the boat's ladder into the water. The groups swap activities at half-time.
In this watery world, you should expect to see hundreds of fish, canons, submarines, a helicopter, and possibly even King Neptune. All you have to do is breathe and walk -- it's that simple. Stroll at a depth of about 20 feet among beautiful coral banks and reef fish -- there's an underwater pathway between the coral banks, so you can walk without fear of damaging the coral or the marine life.
Rum or fruit punch (included) are served after the trek.
