This wheelchair accessible panoramic drive is for those who wish to see the sights of the Dutch and French sides of the island.
Board an accessible air-conditioned coach and proceed through the Dutch capital of Philipsburg -- a bustling town with historical buildings, full-on street activity, and an abundance of shops and cafés.
On the way to Marigot, on the French side of the island, you'll pass the Great Salt Pond and enjoy a photo stop at Cole Bay Hill.
The unassuming border monument marks your passage into a French overseas territory. Continue from here into the French capital of Marigot. Browse in the outdoor food market, venture into inviting sidewalk cafés, and sample an array of duty-free shops.
Notice the quaint and colorful colonial-Creole architecture as you travel through the seaside towns of Grand Case and the French Quarter, returning to the ship in Dutch St Maarten.
Notes:
The content of this tour is identical to Dutch St Martin & French St Maarten: A Panoramic Drive. Only guests using a wheelchair can book this tour, as it ensures accessible transportation. Due to the specialized nature of some lift-equipped vehicles, priority is given to guests using a wheelchair and one companion only; additional companions may be required to travel on the transportation provided for the Dutch St Martin & French St Maarten: A Panoramic Drive. Bookings not marked with an accessibility requirement will be removed from the tour's inventory. Transportation can accommodate one wheelchair and one scooter (or two wheelchairs) and up to six additional passengers. Two accessible vehicles are available. Collapsible wheelchairs/walkers can be folded and stored. Maximum weight limit for the lift is 600 pounds. The immediate area where the transportation stops in Marigot is accessible; some parts of the town are not. Please see the Shore Excursions team on board the ship to advise which type of wheelchair or scooter you will use on tour. Views from the vehicle may be limited or obstructed at times.
Please complete the special services form at https://book.hollandamerica.com/specialservices/login.action; this will ensure that suitable transportation is in place for your tour.
