Enjoy three excursions in one -- a fun and challenging package of kayaking, hiking and snorkeling.

A short transfer brings you to the St Thomas Mangrove Wildlife Refuge & Marine Sanctuary. Here, you will kayak past the many small islands in the mangrove lagoon while viewing breathtaking volcanic cliffs and the impressive Red Point geologic blowhole.

Leave your watercraft at the shore and hike through the mangrove forest along a scenic beach of coral and shell rubble with views overlooking the Caribbean Sea, Buck Island and French Cap in the distance. There are tidal pools to explore and don't miss the excitement of the Hermit Crab Race and a pirates' treasure hunt for kids.

Slip on a mask and head into the sea to snorkel in the clear, protected waters of the coral-fringed mangrove lagoon. You will view a remnant of a shipwreck, which teems with colorful marine life. With any luck, you will spot shy turtles, stingrays, starfish, conch, puffer fish, tropical birds and lizards in their natural habitat. Watch for rays as well.

Notes:

Sit-on-top kayaks are used. Maximum weight is 275 lbs. Minimum age is 4 years. Tour includes paddling and snorkeling instruction, snorkel equipment, life jackets, mesh bags, and a light snack. Lockers, changing rooms, and a gift shop are available. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk.
