The baking oven made out of stone is still used today for baking bread. Discover the secrets of local coconut oil and of bay rum -- a product of the tasty bay leaf. These items reveal the culture of a Creole kitchen.
Learn about traditional Creole headwear and costumes, and view an informative display of historical items, artifacts and utensils used by Amerindians, Europeans and Africans at the mini-museum on site.
