A short transfer brings you to the base. A brief orientation introduces you to your guide and your vehicle; then, you're off on a fun adventure.
The first off-road mountain trail takes you to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the main valley of Basseterre. Your ship in the background makes for a wonderful photo opportunity as you enjoy the cool breeze and the natural beauty all around you.
Head back down the mountain and up another hill offering a panoramic view of St Peters and the Southeast Peninsula.
Curve around off-road trails behind the international airport en route to the Vibes Beach Bar. This aptly-named establishment offers the perfect blend of island and sports bar atmosphere. You can purchase a beverage here (at your own expense) or take time out to relax on the beach or swim in the calm Caribbean Sea.
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Maximum weight is 300 lbs. Minimum age is 3 years. Bring your driver's license.
