Travel through Basseterre to the resort area of Frigate Bay. This is where the land narrows, making it possible to view the Atlantic coast's cresting foams and the Caribbean Sea's tranquil waters, separated only by part of the Royal St Kitts Golf course.
A drive up Timothy Hill brings you to the entrance to the Southeast Peninsula. Enjoy six miles of striking beauty -- rolling hills, with each gentle turn providing a different spectacular view, the sea on either side and the land interrupted by dazzling salt ponds.
At a local beach, take in the beautiful vistas of Nevis. A warm, smiling Caribbean welcome awaits you.
There is lively music, watersports, open areas, a restaurant, and a gift shop to explore.
Spend time walking on the beach, swimming or sunbathing. A beach chair and refreshing welcome drink are provided at the beachfront restaurant.
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk.
