Relax and enjoy this sightseeing tour of Samana City.
Your first stop will be at La Churcha (1860) -- a historic church built in England to house the freed North American congregation.
At a typical, rustic cigar 'factory' called a Cigar House, watch as the famous cigars of the Dominican Republic are hand-rolled. After a brief orientation, you will also learn about the production process; then, you are invited to make the most of a rum-tasting session.
Next up is a visit to the quaint town of Las Terrenas. Once a sleepy fishing village, this popular destination is now home to a variety of well-appointed gift shops, European-influenced restaurants, and charming cafés. Enjoy some free time to explore Las Terrenas or swim at a nearby beach.
A pleasant ride returns you to Samana's pier.
