Explore the mountainous countryside in a 4x4 vehicle and cool off with a swim at picturesque Maracas Bay Beach.
Your tour begins with a panoramic drive through Port-of-Spain to the town of Maraval. Watch for the Magnificent Seven -- a group of extravagant and eccentrically-designed mansions lining the western side of the Queen's Park Savannah.
Board a 4x4 vehicle and begin the drive up the mountain. You'll travel through a rich agricultural area offering panoramic views. Stop in Paramin -- a quaint village famous for its seasonings. Enjoy a snack and beverage here.
A further drive brings you to the Maracas Lookout. Snap some photos and continue to Maracas Bay for a walk along the sandy beach and a swim if you wish.
Notes:
Minimum age is 5 years. This tour does not go off-road. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk.
