Depart the pier by air-conditioned coach and drive to the famous Dunn's River Falls. Meet your guide here and climb 600 feet of cool, refreshing water as it cascades over natural limestone terraces.
A brief drive brings you to Mystic Mountain, where you will board the state-of-the-art Rainforest Sky Explorer chairlift that soars above the treetops to the peak of Mystic Mountain. Your ascent through the forest skims the northern shoreline. At the top, disembark and explore the educational pavilion that emphasizes four distinct components of Jamaica's colorful national heritage and culture, Jamaican maritime prominence and the much-decorated athletic tradition of the Jamaican people.
Next up on your adventure is a ride on the Ragamuffin -- an inverted coaster that veers through 14 twists and turns, swinging out over hanging cliffs. This gravity-assisted ride has four automatic braking zones so that you can enjoy the epic panoramic vistas of the Caribbean Sea.
Take in the observation tower's spectacular views of Ocho Rios, the coastline, and the main cruise ship pier. Spend time at the top admiring the panoramic views, swimming in the infinity edge pool, or enjoying a tasty lunch (at your own expense).
The Sky Explorer waits to carry you down through the heart of the canopy and offers sensational views of the sparkling Caribbean Sea.
Notes:
Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Dunn's River Falls are slippery -- pregnant women and guests with heart, neck, back or knee conditions should not attempt to climb them. Jumping from the falls is not permitted. Due to the falls' popularity, you may encounter long lines at the entrance and crowds once inside the falls area. Lockers are available at the falls for a nominal fee. Rubber-soled, closed-toe shoes are required -- aqua shoes can be purchased from your tour guide or bring yours with you. Minimum height is 4 feet. Minimum age is 6 years. Maximum weight is 350 lbs. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk.
