Experience four exciting activities on this one excursion -- the Sky Explorer chairlift, the Jamaican Bobsled, the Ragamuffin, and a zip-line canopy tour through the tropical coastal forest.
Board an air-conditioned coach for a one-hour transfer to Mystic Mountain. Upon arrival, hop aboard the Sky Explorer chairlift for a fun ride 700 feet up through the tropical forest canopy. At the peak, spend a few minutes exploring the interesting educational displays about the history and culture of Jamaica and her people.
The thrill of your life awaits on the one-and-only Bobsled Jamaica. This signature ride features a gravity-driven plunge through 3,280 feet of twists and turns on a specially designed sled, evoking the glory of the 1988 and 1992 Jamaican Olympic Bobsled teams. You control your own descent with an in-sled handbrake, allowing for either a leisurely tour through the forest or a pulse-quickening dive to the bottom of the mountain.
Another signature ride you can enjoy is The Ragamuffin -- an inverted coaster that veers through 14 twists and turns, swinging its passengers out over the hanging cliffs. This gravity-assisted ride has four automatic braking zones so you can catch your breath to take in the epic panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea.
Listen to an orientation; then, gear up with safety equipment and a harness system for your zip-line flight. You'll take off through the canopy on a series of cables and pulleys interconnected on both tree and land-based platforms. The canopy tour ends at the mid-station of the chairlift, where you can catch a ride back to the top.
Spend time admiring the panoramic views, swimming in the infinity pool, or enjoying a tasty lunch from the restaurant (at your own expense). When you're ready, hop a ride on the Sky Explorer chairlift back to the bottom, and a shuttle will return you to the ship.
Notes:
Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Minimum age is 8 years. Maximum weight is 270 lbs. The minimum height to ride the Bobsled unaccompanied by an adult is 42 inches. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk.
