Prepare for a wonderful, educational encounter with a sea lion at Blue Lagoon Island. After a short scenic ferry ride to the Island, you'll meet the sea lion trainers for an interactive orientation at the American Humane Society-certified facility at Blue Lagoon Island.
After a photo opportunity on dry land, climb onto a platform in waist-deep water and interact with these playful and gentle sea creatures in their natural marine habitat. They will impress you with their antics, friendliness and intelligence. Take photos as you play with and feed your new friends.
Enjoy time to relax on Blue Lagoon beach before or after the encounter.
Notes:
Minimum age is 8 years. Minimum height is 48 inches. Do not wear sunscreen or jewelry, as these can injure the sea lions' skin. Pregnant women are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Guests who are pregnant are not allowed to participate. Not advisable for guests with mobility limitations. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Bring reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen for afterward.
