Sit back and relax on a panoramic drive through downtown Nassau. Pass the Parliament Buildings in historic Rawson Square before crossing the Sir Sidney Poitier Bridge to Paradise Island.
Back across the bridge, drive through the Potters Cay fish market on your way to the Queen’s Staircase and Fort Fincastle. Pause here for photos.
Your drive continues to the famous Graycliff Heritage Village. Visit the museum, showcasing many native artifacts. At Bahama Barrels, the country’s first winery, sample local wines. Graycliff is also renowned for its cigars and chocolates. Taste chocolate samples from the local chocolate factory.
John Watlings Rum Distillery offers a welcome drink and a tour of this historic rum factory. Learn about the rum-making process; then, take time to relax and order a variety of drinks and cocktails (at your own expense). A seat on the outdoor patio allows the ocean breezes to cool you and views to soothe your soul before you return to the pier.
