This transfer may suit you if you would like to explore on your own. It consists of a motorcoach ride from the ship to Miami's South Beach area and a brief orientation drive and ends with a transfer to Fort Lauderdale Airport. You will be dropped off at a central location (usually Ocean Drive and 5th Street; or Collins Avenue and Lincoln Road in the event of inclement weather). The coach escort will advise you of the pick-up time for the return journey. You will have approximately 80 minutes to shop and explore independently before heading to the airport.
Notes:
This tour is available only to guests whose cruise ends in Miami, with flights from Fort Lauderdale Airport after 3pm for domestic flights and 4pm for international flights. Disembark the ship with your luggage, clear Customs, and board the tour motorcoach. The driver will stow and lock your luggage in the hold of the motorcoach. Guide service, taxis, entrance fees and lunch are not included in the transfer price. It is your responsibility to be at the pick-up point at the given return time. An English-speaking escort will be aboard the transfer motorcoach to answer questions en route. Travel time to Miami's South Beach is approximately 30 minutes. If you have already purchased an airport transfer with your cruise booking, it will be refunded on board the ship, as this excursion automatically includes a transfer. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Free time at Bayside may be substituted for free time at South Beach in case of inclement weather and on certain dates.
