Transfer to the beach and meet your horse -- a sturdy, good-natured animal with a steady gait. Listen to a safety briefing; then, your ride begins on an off-road trail with views of the beautiful blue Caribbean Sea. When you reach the beach, keep going! You'll ride your horse right into the water. (S)he loves a refreshing dip in the sea, and you will love the thrill of this unusual experience.
Hop off, dry off, and enjoy two hours relaxing on the beach in a lounge chair. This private beach is one of the best in Roatán.
Food and beverages are available for purchase (at your own expense).
Notes:
Minimum age is 8 years. Maximum weight is 220 lbs. Guests who are pregnant or have a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Riding time is approximately 40 minutes. Wear closed-toe shoes (mandatory). A helmet is provided and must be worn. Water shoes are available for rent at the excursion site for US$3. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, a cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Showers and changing facilities are available.
