What better way to kick off a jungle river tubing adventure than to drive through the untouched terrain of Jamaica's interior?
The adventure begins at the water's edge at the put-in site, where you will be assigned your tube. Listen to an orientation complete with safety tips for the ride down the river. This is your opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy watching Jamaica's natural beauty go by.
Your guide will introduce you to the real Jamaica with interesting commentary as you navigate the rushing rapids of the Great River. Watch for a glimpse of the many indigenous jungle animals in their natural habitat. Experience the rush, the excitement and the thrill of the different moods of the Great River as she changes her pace along this magical, unspoiled thoroughfare.
Notes:
Minimum age is 6 years. Maximum weight is 300 lbs. One person per tube. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Please realistically assess your physical fitness and medical history when determining whether this tour is appropriate. Guests who are pregnant or have a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Lockers are available at an additional cost to be paid on site. Duration of tubing may vary based on the seasonal flow of the river.
