Experienced surfers, snowboarders and wakeboarders will delight at the perfect wave and the fun and excitement of riding the Grand Turk FlowRider®. In this session, both bodyboards and FlowBoards are available to riders.
Make your way to the facility, located adjacent to the swimming pool and Margaritaville at the Grand Turk Cruise Center.
Check in at the reception desk, where your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband valid for your session time.
After a safety briefing, lesson, and demonstration from an instructor, your session will begin.
The ride operates by sending a thin sheet of water at high speed up a pre-formed and cushioned wave platform.
During each 45-minute session, you will rotate through the attraction several times. Your friends and family are invited to watch.
Notes:
This is a very strenuous activity. It is completely participatory with very fast and turbulent water. Riders must be in very good physical condition. Guests who are pregnant or have a back, neck, heart, shoulder or joint condition are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Wear a very secure swimsuit, as the fast-flowing water can pull swimsuit tops or bottoms off. Minimum height is 42 inches to ride the bodyboard and 52 inches to ride the FlowBoard.
