Experience the thrill of bodyboarding or kneeboarding in a fun, exciting and controlled environment on the Grand Turk FlowRider.
Make your way from the ship to the attraction and check in at the reception desk, where your tour ticket will be exchanged for a wristband, valid for your session's time.
After a safety briefing, lesson and demonstration by one of the instructors, your session will begin.
During each 30-minute session, you'll rotate through the attraction several times.
The ride operates by sending a thin sheet of water at high speed up a pre-formed and cushioned wave platform.
Even if you've never tried bodyboarding or kneeboarding, you will surely find this an exciting and exhilarating experience.
Your friends and family are invited to watch you carving up the wave (or perhaps wiping out!). Either way, it is both fun and entertaining.
Notes:
This is a very strenuous activity. It is completely participatory with very fast and turbulent water. Riders must be in very good physical condition. Guests who are pregnant or have a heart, back, neck, shoulder or joint condition are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Wear a very secure swimsuit, as the fast-flowing water can pull swimsuit tops or bottoms off. Minimum height is 42 inches.
