The Grand Turk Wall is the third-largest barrier reef in the world, formed from a natural underwater cliff that is 7,000 feet deep in places. Perhaps the best way to see this absolute wonder of the world is without getting wet. Hop aboard the only semi-submarine on Grand Turk to visit the famous Wall. The semi-sub -- half above the water's surface and half below, offers a fantastic view of the abundant sea life that calls this reef-wall home. Expect to see angel fish, turtles, puffer fish, nurse sharks, and barracuda, to name just a few.
A diver in the water reveals what hides among the rocks and points out hidden sea life such as conch, starfish, sea cucumbers and other colorful marine species.
Atop the semi-sub is a sundeck -- feel free to use it to see the reef from above the waterline, to take in the fantastic island views, and to look for dolphins that sometimes come out to play. Please note: Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed
