Enjoy the many facets of Cayman with a scenic journey to the landforms of Hell, a look at some gingerbread architecture at West Bay, and downtime on a Caymanian beach.
On a panoramic drive along the West Bay Peninsula, your guide offers a brief history of the Cayman Islands. (S)he will point out all the sights, including the world-class hotels and condos that line Seven Mile Beach. This is indisputably one of the world's most spectacular beaches.
A brief stop outside the Governor's residence allows you to take photos from the coach.
Then, continue into West Bay for an outside view of the Old Homestead. This authentic piece of Cayman history is a true Caribbean gingerbread house.
It's not your imagination if it feels like your day is going to Hell -- view the Caymans' most interesting limestone rock formations, with an equally interesting name, from a viewing platform. You'll learn a few possible explanations for how this beautiful place earned its unflattering name. The silver lining? Mailing postcards to friends and family with a very, very distinctive postmark!
A stop at a local beach -- gives you two hours to relax on the sand. Yes, indeed, this is a little slice of pure heaven.
The motorcoach will collect you when it's time to return to the ship.
