Come along for a fun-filled day as you discover colorful Grand Cayman, its capital city, its delicious rum cake, a pretty place called Hell, and a glorious strand of beach that runs for seven powdery miles.
Journey into downtown George Town and view several of the city's most famous landmarks -- Fort George, the Legislative Assembly building, Heroes Square, the Peace Memorial and many of the numerous banks for which Grand Cayman is famous.
At the Conch Shell House, take photos of this beautiful home built in 1935 using 4,000 conch shells.
The Rum Cake Centre offers a taste of Grand Cayman's world-famous rum cake. This indulgence is, perhaps not coincidentally, followed by a trip straight to Hell. Here you'll have the opportunity to send a postcard to family and friends from the Hell post office. Along the way to the rock formations that bear this unfortunate name, you'll pass famous Seven Mile Beach, the Hotel Zone, the Governor's Mansion and the Old Homestead.
Enjoy a 20-minute stop at Seven Mile Beach for photos and time to dig your toes into the powdery white sand or enjoy the Caribbean water before returning to the ship.
Guests wishing to stay at the beach independently are welcome to do so, but must make their own way back to the ship.
Notes:
Wear comfortable shoes. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. The beach has wooden walkways to the sandy area. Tour does not operate on Sundays.
