Experience the cool, clear waters of one of Jamaica’s magnificent rivers as you learn the rich history of the 2,000-acre 18th-century Good Hope Estate. You will see the ruins of the plantation and hear about the legends of old Jamaica. An ancient tale about an Arawak Native which surrounds this river.
Your adventure begins on the Martha Brae River. You will tube down a scenic route that many runaway slaves took to gain their freedom.
Find gold if you are lucky under the cut-stone bridge. Purchase fun souvenirs or sample the authentic jerk chicken (at your own expense) -- it was first made right here on the plantation.
