This food tour of Fort-de-France takes you through its historic streets in pursuit of delightful culinary surprises. Led by a local guide, you'll stop for tasty morsels and learn about Martinique's history at the same time.
Walk past Savannah Park, the Prefecture, old City Hall, the striking Schoelcher Library, and the Romanesque-revival St Louis Cathedral. Each offers a window into the city's rich past and cultural heritage.
Along the way, pause at various eateries to try local pastries, candy and sugarcane juice, and a special dish at a restaurant on Fort-de-France's most photogenic street. Instagramming or albuming? These all make for keeper photos.
A delicious rum tasting is followed by some optional free time in Fort-de-France and at the waterfront.
