You will leave Fort-de-France via the main road to reach the south of Martinique. Passing by the Marin Bay viewpoint your guide will tell you about this bay and its 17th- to 19th-century battles between the English and French.
At Pointe Marin Beach, take advantage of some time for swimming and relaxing on this white-sand beach with its super-clear water.
Your return to the ship will be via the Atlantic coast road -- offering views of charming landscapes, rural villages, banana plantations, valleys and the ever-present sea.
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. The route will be winding and bumpy; guests who suffer from motion sickness should consider this before booking and/or take appropriate medication. Minimum age is 2 years. Beach chairs and umbrellas are not included, but may be available for an extra cost.
