It's "dinnertainment" time — your chance to sample local cuisine while you learn about the Florida Keys. Discover how Key West's rich history is reflected in its cuisine, shaped by Bahamian, Cuban, and Caribbean traditions.
Transfer to historic Building One — the earliest masonry structure built by the US Navy in the 1850s. Here, the Key West Cooking Show brings the history and tastes of Key West and the Caribbean to life. In a meticulously designed 1950s-style demonstration kitchen, savor an environment that blends old Key West charm with interactive storytelling. Each meal is a glimpse into the people and cultures that have defined the island.
During a chef-led demonstration, watch as expert chefs prepare signature dishes and share the stories behind the flavors. You can follow along with your souvenir recipe cards, making this experience as engaging as it is delicious. You may even be asked to assist the chef. Authentic island cooking aromas fill the space in a delicious symphony of sights, sounds, and scents.
Enjoy a glass of freshly made sangria or lemonade and indulge in a multi-course meal consisting of a starter, soup, main dish, and dessert, all featuring locally inspired ingredients and traditional island flavors.
