This outing perfectly captures the beauty of Curaçao and the island’s outstanding natural charms.
Drive through Willemstad, heading westward through the city and out into the countryside. Along the way, you’ll see several plantation homes and old slave houses.
Boka Tabla, your first stop, is where the sea meets the coast and the waves explode against wild rock formations -- a testament to nature’s raw power. At West Point, snap a few photos from the coach and enjoy the beautiful view over the Caribbean Sea at Playa Forti.
Your next stop is at the most beautiful beach on the island. Swim in the azure sea or relax on the stunning white-sand beach.
Local artist Nena Sanchez is famous for her Dutch Caribbean landscapes with fascinating bright colors. Visit her gallery at the Jan Kok Estate.
On the way back to Willemstad, pause for photos from the coach at the Jan Kok salt lakes, where you may be lucky enough to spot some flamingos.
Notes:
Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk.
