Step aboard a bubble boat for a leisurely cruise along the incredible shoreline of Cabo Rojo while indulging in a delectable barbecue feast.
Walk to the marina, just 5 to 10 minutes away and board your Barbecue Donut Boat. This unusual craft is exactly as the name implies -- a round, self-propelled vessel equipped with comfortable and spacious seating for nine guests around a central, built-in charcoal grill. A canopy provides comfortable shade.
Cruise along the picturesque coastline for about 45 to 50 minutes, taking in the breathtaking vistas of the ocean, incredible turquoise waters, and perhaps even marine life swimming beneath the boat.
Your experienced chef-guide and captain invite you to participate in the grilling if you wish or simply relax and watch how it's done. A fabulous lunch of freshly-grilled seafood, juicy steaks, tender vegetables, and a variety of tasty sauces is served with included beers and soft drinks. Background music of your choice plays, and your entertainment is the mesmerizing ocean seascape all around you.
Head to a nearby beach club (approximate transfer time of 20 minutes) for time on the beach or in the water. Enjoy unlimited refreshing drinks from a select open-bar menu. Take a beach chair or paddle at your own pace in a kayak, or stand-up paddleboards are also available (all on a first-come, first-served basis).
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind is allowed), light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Bring insect repellent. Minimum age to drink alcohol is 18 years with a companion aged 21 years or older. Maximum weight is 260 lbs (127 kg). Lifejackets are provided on the boat and must be worn. Walkers can be accommodated. Wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on the transportation. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair. Bring local currency, as many vendors do not accept credit cards or US dollars. Water shoes are recommended.
