This exciting off-road 4x4 excursion takes you off in search of adventure and will allow you to cover parts of the island and appreciate sights many visitors never discover.
Head off the beaten track on dirt roads through rivers and old plantations, along the Atlantic coast and into the heart of the island. Along the way, you may see various birds, including the colorful motmot and Tobago's wildlife up close.
Your journey allows you to visit the Speyside Waterwheel, a former plantation house, and take in a panoramic view from the Speyside Lookout.
You will continue on to King's Bay Waterfall and then to Louis d'or for possible sightings of caimans (small crocodiles).
At the southern boundary of the rain forest you will make a stop for a 20-minute swim at the beautiful Argyle Falls.
Notes:
Wear comfortable walking shoes. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Minimum age is 7 years. If you intend to swim at Argyle Falls, wear your swimsuit under your clothes and bring a towel from the ship. Swim at your own risk.
